Cornucopia of Stress Management Techniques From TLTA Members to You!
TLTA | Nov. 17, 2020
There’s a lot to cope with right now—from personal and family health to juggling busy workloads—and stress levels are higher than normal these days. We sent a survey to TLTA members asking for stress management techniques that work:
- What strategies are you personally employing to manage your stress and protect your mental health?
- What coping techniques have you put in place in the workplace to help your co-workers and employees manage and stay positive and productive during these trying times?
Thank you to all who helped by responding to the survey with your best stress management techniques, tips and ideas - they were all great!
While there were too many responses to include all of them in our cornucopia of ideas, we've compiled a manageable collection that can be reviewed in 5-10 minutes. Who knows - you may find the answer you've been looking for:

May Your Thanksgiving Overflow With Grace, Gratitude and the Comforts of Tradition
While 2020 has been filled with unprecedented challenges, we are grateful this year for the strength of our real estate marketplace, the opportunity to make a difference in our communities, and the fellowship of our peers, friends and family.
Now more than ever we are inspired to find meaning and strength in the power of Thanksgiving. May your holiday overflow with grace, gratitude and the comforts of tradition!
More than 300 RSVP'd for Town Hall With Comptroller Hegar; National Association of Realtors' Chief Economist Is Our Next Featured Guest Dec. 17
TLTA town halls have traditionally been a roadshow with our current association president (and TLTA staff in tow) traveling the state to gather member feedback, make new connections and more. Because we can’t be in your community this fall, TLTA President John Bruce and your team at TLTA are doing something new instead.
We hosted the inaugural session of our Town Hall Insights Series featuring Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar Nov. 16, and more than 300 title pros RSVP'd for the event. Comptroller Hegar's insights regarding the overall state of our economy and his personal anecdotes were a great mix for an hour of learning and strengthening our industry's connection with one of Texas' top state officials.
Each session of the Town Hall Insights Series will feature a special guest speaker providing insights on big issues our industry is facing, as well as a brief update on TLTA's work in progress. Up next is Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors Dec. 17.
