NANCY EBERT, TLTA DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION, RECEIVES TSAE STAR VOLUNTEER AWARD
Nancy Ebert, TLTA'S Director of Education and Meetings, was recognized by the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) with the Star Volunteer Award during the group's annual awards luncheon held September 25. Nancy started in the association profession 25 years ago, beginning with the Texas Association of Realtors. She worked for the Texas Hospital Association for 18 years before joining TLTA in 2002. Nancy has been a member of TSAE since 1985, and served on numerous committees including Southwest Showcase, which she chaired this past year. Colleagues and friends of Nancy know that she is the ultimate professional and is a very hard worker – both on the job and in her volunteer roles. Congratulations, Nancy, on this well-deserved award.
UPCOMING MEETINGS
The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held in conjunction with the Central Texas Professional Development Seminar on Wednesday, October 3 at the Omni Austin Hotel Southpark. TLTA Agent Section leadership will also be meeting with members in conjunction with the Central Texas Professional Development Seminar. COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE MEETS IN AUSTIN
The Communications Committee met on August 28 to discuss plans for re-vamping the TLTA web site and finalized topics and authors for articles to be published in Downdate.
