TDI Releases 2013 Agent Statistical Report

The 2013 Agent Statistical Report is now available online.  TDI annually collects information from title agents and underwriters doing business in Texas. Agent companies report their income, expenses and losses. The results are published in the Texas Title Insurance Agent Experience Report Compilation. You can see the full report here.  The underwriter report is not yet available.

Chase Bank Provides More Guidance on How It Will Handle New CFPB Forms   

Chase Bank recently provided communication updates to settlement agents providing additional information about the process the mortgage lender will use to handle CFPB's new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID) forms that go into effect in August of 2015. While various lenders may handle this process differently it is important to see how some of the largest volume mortgage lenders in the country will structure their process and what it means for title agents.
