Early voting for March primaries starts this Tuesday, Feb. 17
TLTA | Feb. 12, 2026
Most elections in Texas are decided during the primaries, when turnout is lower and the most engaged voters shape who advances to the general election. If you wait until November, the real choice may already have been made — which is why participating in the primary is often the most consequential vote you’ll cast.
Early voting for the primary election started this Tuesday, Feb. 17. Please make your plan to vote and encourage your network to do the same.

Soon you should receive an email from TDI with instructions for testing the system with which agents will report their 2025 statistical data. TDI's email includes a link through which you can test your ability to use their reporting form. Testing is voluntary, but TLTA encourages agents to test their ability to complete the form to ensure agents are able to submit their statistical data by the May 1 deadline.
TDI has adopted new rules regarding the schedule for collecting 2025 agent statistical data. The instructions and form will be posted in a few weeks on March 1. Reports are due by May 1.

ALTA's Chris Morton via Housingwire | Feb. 10, 2026
A new year often brings renewed confidence that technology will change everything. And 2026 is no exception. Across industries, artificial intelligence is being framed as the next major force reshaping operations, customer expectations, and the way businesses evaluate risk. Real estate is at the center of that conversation, and title and settlement companies are not just on the sidelines.
