The endgame is in motion as the Texas Legislature prepares to adjourn Sine Die on Monday, ending the 89th Legislative Session. The state budget is finalized and has been approved by both chambers, but other high priority initiatives, including property tax relief, remain unresolved as lawmakers work to stay one step ahead of the deadlines that have killed most of the bills still working their way through the legislative process.

I am working on TAKING THESE AMAZING COMPANIES PUBLIC, but I want to be clear, the U.S. Government will keep its implicit GUARANTEES, and I will stay strong in my position on overseeing them as President. Our industry has a strong economic footprint, generating $30 billion in gross domestic product (GDP) and creating 155,000 jobs in 2022. Indirectly, the industry supports 231,000 jobs, $19 billion in wages and benefits, and $32 billion in GDP through the purchase of goods and services from suppliers.
What makes these numbers even more powerful is that they are driven by women who dominate the title insurance industry, comprising over 70% of the workforce. It’s also ideal for those college graduates with an entrepreneurial streak, small businesses are 90% of our industry.
