Gov. Abbott Appoints TLTA Past President Rodney Anderson, CTIP, to Judicial Compensation Commission

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Rodney Anderson to the Judicial Compensation Commission for a term set to expire Feb. 1, 2029. The Commission recommends the proper salaries to be paid by the state for all justices and judges of the Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, Courts of Appeals, and state district courts.

ICYMI: FINCEN BOI Reporting Voluntary for Now Following Federal District Court Injunction

In light of a recent federal court order, reporting companies are not currently required to file beneficial ownership information with FinCEN and are not subject to liability if they fail to do so while the order remains in force. However, reporting companies may continue to voluntarily submit beneficial ownership information reports.
