FinCEN Postpones Residential Real Estate Reporting Rule Until March 1, 2026

FinCEN announced today that it is postponing implementation of the new Residential Real Estate Reporting Rule until March 1, 2026. 

In the meantime, existing Real Estate Geographic Targeting Orders will remain in effect. 

TLTA has been actively engaged on this issue, including a formal letter to FinCEN requesting this extension.
