Probate Issues, Intestate Succession, TODD & Lady Bird Deeds

When an owner of property passes away, a determination of who inherited the property can be made through the court system if a will is probated, or through the laws of intestacy if no will is probated. Other “non-probate” options include Transfer on Death Deeds and Lady Bird Deeds.  This session provides a broad overview of all of these options, to help title professionals determine who inherited a property they are asked to insure.
