Hurricane Harvey Recovery Resources

We are grateful to the many TLTA members who have contacted us with status updates about how Hurricane Harvey has affected those in the TLTA community. Our hearts continue to break as we hear the many stories of devastation, but we also find our hearts warmed by the sense of community and the many acts of heroism exhibited during this tragedy. To that end, TLTA stands ready to help. After hearing from so many of you, both those who need help and those who wish to give it, we have determined that the best role for TLTA to play is to serve as a central source of information. 

Ways to Help Affected Members Needing Assistance

Alliant National Title 
Through a partnership with the Greater Houston Community Foundation, Alliant has created the Alliant National Helping Hands Fund to offer financial support to their agents, agents' employees and to Alliant employees to help with disaster-related costs and expenses. The Fund is open to donations from anyone and will assist those affected in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina or any other state with counties declared a federal disaster. 

Capital Title Houston
12 employees affected – many lost their homes and do not have flood insurance. If you would like to volunteer in clean up efforts, provide food or shelter to volunteers or offer other services, please call or text Allison Mayo directly at 832-942-3926.

Great American Title
At least 17 employee homes have been flooded and many have also lost their cars. If you would like to contribute, please visit their GoFundMe page - https://www.gofundme.com/greatamericantitle. Great American Title will be matching dollar for dollar up to $25,000.

First National Title Insurance Family
The FNTI family of independent agents has 14 companies with offices in the gulf-region counties that were declared disaster areas. Stewart Title Guaranty Company
Stewart Title has launched a Disaster Relief Fund to help associates across Texas who were affected by the storm. This fund enables associates to donate money to help fellow Stewart associates with damages. As part of this initiative, Stewart is currently matching all donations dollar for dollar. Rockport Abstract and Title
Rockport Abstract and Title is severely damaged and will be in need of office furniture as they rebuild. Please contact Jackie Bauer at [email protected] or 361-463-1123 if you can contribute anything.

WFG National Title

If you don’t have a fund but have specific needs (supplies, clothing, etc.), please contact us with the information you’d like us to post.
